Yes, that’s correct: the title reads hello world! which might be somewhat opposed to the bleak statements of the predictors of global goodbye.

「そう、そのとおり。世界（せかい）が終わるなんて言う予言者（よげんしゃ）
たちの希望（きぼう）のない意見とは、なんか反対の感じがする題名です。」

We insist on greeting the world and greeting the planet and give kudos to our mother earth for being so patient with her children that now finally come of age.

私たちの主張（しゅちょう）

「世界にあいさつしよう。
この星にあいさつしよう。
そして今ついに
大人になった
こどもたちの成長を、
気長に待ってくれた
わたしたちの
母なる地球を
ほめたたえよう」

Althoug we often behaved abusive, violent and unappreciative, she has never stopped to feed and nurture us with her caring love. Hey, it’s time to give something back and heal the wounds that we inflicted on her.

「ぼくらは、しょっちゅう
虐待（ぎゃくたい）したり
暴力（ぼうりょく）ふるったり
感謝（かんしゃ）知らずの
振る舞いしたけど、 彼女は
愛をもってぼくらを
はぐくみ養い、めんどうみる
ことを決してやめなかった。」

「ねぇ、そろそろ
お返しする時だよね。
そして彼女が引き受けて
くれた傷がなおるんだ。」
